Tenyuu Grand

Average Japanese food -above average prices
For the money, you would expect impeccable food, presentation and service. However Tenyuu was unable to reach the lofty goals it seems to have set for itself.
Food was ok, sushi fresh and fairly large but for about 1/2 the price, you can find the same sushi at Uomasa and a few other Suk. restaurants.
Service was more Thai than Japanese standard with waitress spilling my sake, a second dour-faced waitress not even verbally acknowledging (or even a head nod) our orders. Furthermore, the desert we ordered was listed as 120 baht in the menu and they charged us 190 baht - when I brought this to the attention to the cashier she simply ignored me. Its not the 70 baht that I was worried about - but the principle of the situation...she was downright rude and even waved me off.......This is typical of below average Thai service compared to true Japanese service.....Japanese understand the concept of customer service and long-term relationships with customers - Thais do not. She may have saved 70 baht, but will never get another 4200 baht from me or my friends again .
