A very special, hidden place

First of all, I must say it's the first time I crank up all the rating sliders on the right!

Upon entering the restaurant I was stunned by the decoration. It's so colorful and welcoming. There's a dining room, a terrace and an underneath living room with sofas - just like home!

The menu is quite comprehensive and includes starters, house specials, set lunch and dinner among others. Very interesting, sophisticated dishes on the menu - and yet another painful dilemma to make a choice.

I decided to go for a dinner set, with my main as a baby chicken with Cognac sauce and truffle (side dishes: jardinière & mashed potatoes). It was delicious! Granted, the baby chicken is not really easy to eat but the sauce made it all. In some restaurants, you'll need a microscope to locate the truffle. Here, big, coarse chunks of truffle were served, providing its powerful taste.

I then decided to opt for a crèpe Suzette as my dessert. Again, another greatly executed dish. The dough was excellent (tasty wheat!) and the sauce was perfect. No useless top ups or cream - just the basics. Simple is the tastiest!

I would definitely come back with friends. I really feel privileged as a guest and the service was attentive at all times. The value for money is excellent. Average cost: 700, Number of people: 2
