After a six million baht investment in renovations, the Parkview Restaurant at the Imperial Queen’s Park hotel has a brand new look and is offering a mouthwatering array of culinary delights at their “Gourmet Dinner Buffet” which is available seven nights a week from 18:00-22:00 hours for only 1,400 Baht net (per person) including free flow wine, sparkling wine and draft beer. It’s the ultimate international seafood buffet; where you will find your favorite dishes from Thailand, Japan, India, Italy and the rest of Europe, as well as an impressive dessert bar with a tempting chocolate fondue fountain.

The bountiful Seafood Station has fresh sushi and sashimi, shrimp, mussels, two types of raw oysters on the half shell, blue crab, snow crab and the always coveted Alaskan king crab. You will also find a BBQ Grill Station where you can have fresh Ahi tuna steaks, Australian ribeye steaks, lamb chops and meat and seafood kebabs grilled to order. Another highlight is the foie gras, which is cooked ala-minute and served with different sauces that vary during the week. The Pasta Station serves fresh pasta and homemade pizza. There are hearty roasted vegetables and salads available for vegetarians and a bevy of cold cuts, pate’s and a delectable selection of Asian and European favorites at numerous food stations.

Enjoy hot dishes such as Lamb Osso Bucco, Beef with Blue Cheese Sauce, Thai Baked Prawns with Salt, and Fried Seabass Stir-fry. Guests are also encouraged to help themselves to free refills on beer and wine which adds another casual and fun element to your dining experience.

We want to offer everything you would find at many of the first class hotels, as well as some things you can only find here” said Chef Vittorio Bertini. The fresh made-to-order Caesar salad in a Parmigiano-Reggiano cheese wheel is a prime example of this philosophy, as well as the Caviar Station which features 5 types of fish roe and self serve shots of chilled vodka. With more than 25 years of experience, Chef Bertini is uncompromising in his dedication to preparing quality cuisine and the staff works diligently to ensure that each customer has an enjoyable dining experience.

There are more than a few good reasons to treat yourself to the buffet at the Parkview; but it’s the quality and variety of cuisine, the elegant yet “easy going” environment, and its attractive price point that really sets it apart from their competitors. The fact that the gourmet buffet is available every day of the week makes it incredibly accessible as well. Parkview also has a weekly Sunday brunch between the hours of 1130-1530 that features Chef Bertini’s famous Eggs Benedict, be sure to call ahead as reservations are recommended for brunch.
