Atelier: Grand Millennium Sukhumvit
Open daily from 6.30-22.30, Atelier in the Grand Millennium Sukhumvit is a great place for buffet dining at breakfast, lunch or dinner. At other times of the day, there is a selection of a la carte items available. Unlike many hotel buffets, Atelier was purpose built for buffet dining, making it accessible and easy to negotiate.

It is conveniently located on the hotel's second level. The split-level decor is stunning with lots of soft pastels and shafts of yellow light produced by imaginative lighting. One side of the 141-seat restaurant is open and looks down on the hotel's lobby below. This allows the live music, which is often playing at the jazz bar below, to waft up into the restaurant.
If you are in the neighborhood drop in for a relaxing breakfast before work or a day of shopping. At lunch the 800 baht buffet is popular with guests, shoppers and business people looking for quality dining. In the evening, Atelier is one of Bangkok's leading buffets with a massive selection of items, including antipasti, salads, sashimi/sushi, desserts, Western, Thai, Chinese and Indian dishes, plus a counter that will prepare a la minute items like steaks, poultry and seafood. At 1,100 baht net, it represents great value for money. On Friday and Saturday at dinner, there is a fabulous and popular seafood buffet with a wide variety of fresh items for only 1,600 baht net per person that includes a free flow of house red and white wines.
Sunday brunch is a special time at Atelier. Available from 12.00-15.30 hrs, it features a lavish spread with a la minute main dishes prepared from meat, poultry and seafood, along with some fabulous foie gras. Everywhere you turn, there is something delicious to eat. There is an 'Indian corner' with curries, tandoor chicken and delicious flatbreads.
If you are in the mood for Chinese or Thai dishes you will find them along with numerous Western items. The Italian antipasti table is loaded with goodies like grilled eggplant, salami and hearty salads. A special feature is the wide variety of tapas dishes and Spanish specialties prepared by Victor Burgos, the resident Spanish chef.
The hotel has taken special pains to make this one of the city's finest buffets. The brunch runs 1,800 baht net, including a free flow of beers, cocktails, soft drinks and fruit juices. If you add, 590 baht net per person, you are entitled to a free flow of red, white, rosé and sparkling wine. But, if you have a large group, you can enjoy a 'Come 4 pay 2' promotion for a group of 4 or more. Children 6-10 years receive a 50% discount and those under six eat for free.
Atelier and the Grand Millennium Sukhumvit are conveniently located near the BTS Asoke and MRT Sukhumvit Stations. As shopping and business opportunities increase in the area, the restaurant is becoming an increasingly popular place to eat. If you drive, there is, of course, lots of parking in the hotel's garage. Atelier has numerous promotions and special events. If you phone ahead you can find out if any are scheduled for the time you plan to dine.
